MyoVision

MyoVision is a diagnostic tool that uses computer technology to measure electrical activity in muscles when they are contracting. It uses surface electromyography (sEMG), similar in function to an EKG which measures heart muscle activity.

MyoVision is non-invasive and does not cause any pain. It is completely safe, even for infants, children, pregnant moms, or seniors. It simply requires the placement of probes on the skin. The test takes less than a few minutes. MyoVision results show the muscular component of misalignments of the spine. Muscles brace in response to spinal misalignments. Misalignments reduce your body's ability to function optimally. When they are present, the nervous system is negatively affected, resulting in imbalanced muscle activity and leading to degenerative joint disease. The nervous system is disturbed by misalignments as well, affecting blood vessels and organs.

MyoVision and Chiropractic

Our job as chiropractors is to find and correct your misalignments with an adjustment that restores healthy joint motion and nerve transmission. The MyoVision scan helps show where and when the body is "out of alignment". Follow-up scans demonstrate when your problem has been corrected.
