Client Testimonial

‘‘When I first started seeing Dr. Green, I had not ice-skated in 3 years due to a knee injury. I also had limited flexibility in my spine and neck, which limited my ability to round my spine during Pilates. Dr. Green increased my spinal mobility, giving me the ability to further strengthen my abdominal muscles in Pilates. He also worked on my hips, knees, and ankles, and with his chiropractic skills, encouragement, and suggestions,I was able to get back to ice-skating. Ice-skating served as my lifeline for many years. It gives me a great sense of well-being, instant friends, and a whole support system mentally and physically. Chiropractic literally gave me my life back.’’

BrieAnn Voeller - Pilates and Gyrotonic®

BrieAnn Voeller Joined us in September, 2009 as the newest member of our team. She brings her dynamic and innovative training ideas from Boston, Massachusetts, having recently relocated to the Bay Area, where she was born. BrieAnn studied Pilates with instructors who were in the line of the lucky individuals who studied directly with Joseph Pilates. She became a certified instructor through the New York Pilates Studio and also became certified as a Gyrotonic®* instructor. Currently, she is studying Movement Medicine with Nora St. John at Turning Point Studios. She has been training for 10 years.

As a teacher, BrieAnn's greatest asset is her ability to communicate elegantly the complex and subtle concepts of authentic movement, while still delivering a fantastic workout. BrieAnn refers to Pilates as "intelligent movement for the intelligent body". She makes each session inspirational and fun, while giving her clients powerful tools to discover their strength.

*Gyrotonic® is a movement system developed by Julia Horvath incorporating elements of yoga, tai chi, swimming, and dance. It focuses on spiraling movements, rotations and articulating in the joints.
